Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Wonderful news!  Our church will reopen this Sunday May 3rd!  We will have Sunday morning worship ONLY.  In consultation with Brother Jefferson Sweet, Sunday School classes will meet as the individual classes see fit.  We’re not quite out of the woods yet, so some classes may continue to meet via telephone, Zoom, or other ways.  Please contact your Sunday School teacher to find out what your class is doing.  If you don’t know how to reach your teacher, call the church office at 850 – 892 – 3525.  The church office is already open.

If you are in music ministry, Brother Lew Dolan will be in touch regarding plans for orchestra and eventually, choir.  However, respecting social distancing guidelines (which are still in place), the choir will not resume this Sunday.  Likewise, there’s no prayer meeting for this Wednesday night (that’s April 29th) because the governor’s executive order doesn’t expire until Thursday at midnight.  Our first prayer meeting will be the church business meeting on Wednesday May 6th.  That means that we will have church council Sunday night at 7:00 pm our usual room.  However, if any are concerned about social distancing please contact the church office so we can arrange to include you via telephone.  All council members are encouraged to provide any reports to the church office via email before the meeting (by Thursday) the so that Ginnie can include them in the council agenda.  If you have any questions, please call the church office.

I hope that you are looking forward to resuming fellowship as much as I am!  That said, I understand if anyone feel the need to continue social distancing.  Therefore, we will continue to provide video of the worship services and prayer meetings.  Don’t be shy if you choose to continue to wear a mask when attending church in person.  We all understand.  As continue to pray for one another and for our country as we emerge from this experience.

Yours in Christ,
Brother Bill
