Students in grades 6-12 participate in our Mossy Head Student Ministry. Helping our young people to grow in faith and be prepared to stand for the Lord in a culture that is increasingly hostile to Biblical truth is a priority for us at FBC Mossy Head. Our student ministry leaders aim first and foremost to unabashedly present Jesus as the only hope for the world and the sole source of salvation unto those who trust in Him and have a personal relationship with Him. From there we seek to guide our young people in discerning how to apply biblical truth to their daily lives, in forging and developing meaningful relationships with both mentors and peers, and in mobilizing to share the truth of the Gospel with the world around them. And on top of that, we try to have a lot of fun, too!!
Discipleship Training
Sunday Evenings at 6pm
Discipleship Training is focused on education in the Scriptures. What does the Bible say, and how does that truth impact us day to day? How do the Scriptures point us to Jesus? Most importantly, we ask the question regularly: do YOU know Him today?
Wednesday Evenings @ 6PM
Wednesday evening studies still come from Scripture but are typically geared toward what we learn from the examples shown to us in the narratives. These are lessons in practical faith. How does God use regular people in Scripture to do amazing things for His kingdom? And how can He likewise us use?
Students are encouraged to arrive a little early at 5:30 for a student-friendly meal before class and activities begin.
Questions?
We’d love to talk in person on the weekend, or you can email anytime.
