The children's leaders of FBC Mossy Head teach children the love of Christ and our need for a Savior by setting the example and being committed Christ followers themselves. Children are taught God's truth directly from the bible and the leaders plan activities that reinforce the lessons. (And we have parties for being good stewards!)
Wednesday Evening - Patch the Pirate Club
Beginning at 6:15 on Wednesdays, our children take to the seven seas for adventures in Scripture. Patch the Pirate Club is a dynamic children’s choir program, based on the Word of God and godly character-building music. The Patch Club curriculum includes Bible Impact lessons, sailor devotions, Scripture memory, Bible activities, music lessons, godly character stories, missionary stories, and songs that teach godly-character truths.
Children are encouraged to come early at 5:30 to enjoy a kid-friendly dinner before the lesson and activities begin.
Sunday Evening - Children's Choir
Sunday Evenings at 6 PM are filled with fun as the Children's Choir rehearses old standards of children's songs, newer songs of praise and worship, and seasonal special offerings.
Rehearsal does not begin right at 6. Since we have all just finished a worship service, the children have an opportunity to wind down a little and play on our playground before beginning rehearsal.
Sunday evenings are all kinds of fun in the house of God!

For your convenience, our loving nursery volunteers are pleased to care for your infant children during our worship services so that you may focus on worship of the Lord if you desire. If you wish to keep your baby with you, please be assured that is encouraged as we all learn to worship together. The sounds of children are a blessing to us, and we also have a cry room available with a closed-circuit television displaying our service if you need to feed your baby in privacy.
