Greetings! Welcome to our new website!
Actually, you will notice that there are a lot of new things at FBC Mossy Head these days. I’m a new pastor, having arrived only in August. We have a new logo, a new website, and a new (better to say renewed) zeal to engage our community and share the good news of Jesus Christ.
A lot may be new, but one thing that has not changed at all is the Gospel we preach. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The Bible is God’s inspired Word to us, and it is still as authoritative for us as it was when the Holy Spirit first spoke the words. From that, we will never move. It is our foundation. Jesus Christ is the Solid Rock upon which our hope is built? Do you know Him?
We are realizing a promise of Scripture, and we hope you’ll be part of it as well. In Isaiah 43, God speaks to His people through the prophet and says, “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?” It was a prophecy made centuries ago, and it is even yet being fulfilled and the Lord continues to grant new life and make people new through the power of His Spirit. He is even now breathing new life into His church here, and we are beyond excited to see what the Lord is going to do.
Shall ye not know it? Will you perceive it? If you are tired and weary of the old and hopeless, come and let us tell you about Jesus. He is living water that makes everything new and fresh. He is the hope of the world. He is the only source of salvation. And any man who is in Christ is a new creation. Do you want to be made new? And experience a new thing?
